Day 1 - CAMELS AND COCKTAILS
Fly into Broome from your major capital city and be greeted by a team member from the Kimberley Accommodation Group, check into Moonlight Bay Suites. If it hasn't hit home that you are in a truly special part of the world by now, then after your sunset camel ride on Cable beach it will, perhaps after enjoy a cocktail or two at the Sunset Bar and take in your first Cable Beach sunset.
Day 2 - MATSO'S BROOME BREWERY
Don't miss sunrise over Roebuck Bay as you take in the view from your Moonlight Bay Suite Balcony. Visit the iconic Matso's Broome Brewery where you will enjoy a brewery tour with their German Master Brewer, lunch and find out what goes into brewing their popular craft beers.
Day 3 - WILLIE CREEK PEARL FARM
Enjoy an exhilarating Broome Helicopter flight out to the iconic Willie Creek Pearl Farm. At the Willie Creek you will learn all about Broome's pearling industry and have a glass of bubbles while the Kimberley Dream II winner selects a stunning piece of jewellery to the value of $5000.
Day 4 - DEEP SEA FISHING AT ITS BEST
Take to the seas with one of Broome's best fishing charters for a day of deep sea bliss. Head out more than 20 miles off the turquoise shores of Cable Beach bottom bouncing and trawling for some of the monsters of the deep. If you are lucky you may even see some of the migrating hump back whales.
Day 5 - KUNUNURRA VISTA
Fly one of the regional carriers to Kununurra where you will explore the area and stay one night at the Kununurra Country Club. Perhaps enjoy dinner at the Pump house restaurant and feed the giant cat fish.
Day 6 - TOUCH DOWN BERKELEY RIVER
Only accessible by air or sea, getting to the Berkeley is half the adventure. Leave modern life far behind and relax in your ocean-view villa floating atop the coastal dunes. Be one of the privileged few to set eyes upon breathtaking wilderness landscapes by river cruise or helicopter flight. Enjoy barefoot luxury on secluded white sand beaches. Explore rugged river gorges and swim in crystal clear pools beneath thundering waterfalls. Chase the mighty barra in the remotest fishing spots.
Day 7 - GUIDED EXPEDITION
The Berkeley River is surrounded by wide open spaces and unlimited stretches of pristine beach. Your guides have designed several walks that take in the best of the surrounding area and focus on the native flora, fauna and marine life. Guests can explore the Berkeley and its coastal environments, whilst taking in the breath taking perspectives of this ancient and remote landscape.
Day 8 - TAKE TO THE SKIES
As you will have flown into this wonderful place on arrival, you would have had your appetite for adventure stimulated. Take to the sky again on a flight overhead the resort to capture photos of this great destination, just to put it all in prospective. Ever wondered what's over the hill? We will show you in style, comfort and safety of our air-conditioned, smooth Bell 407 helicopter.
Day 9 - BUSH & BEACH 4WD TOURS
A must for photography enthusiasts, our 4WD tours take in sweeping ocean views, curious rock formations and native wildlife in the early morning and late afternoon, when the colours and contrasts are at their most spectacular.
Day 10 - TAKE A DAY FOR YOU
Of course, there's also the opportunity to master the fine art of doing as little as possible. Relax in your villa or on your deck, drinking in the expansive ocean and river views. Bathe in your private open-air bathroom, gazing up at a star-filled Kimberley night sky. Take a dip, or laze on a lounger beside the sparkling 20-metre lap pool. Your Berkeley River experiences can be as enriching or relaxing as you desire.
Day 11 - BATH IN STYLE
On a river cruise, you can glide by towering rugged cliffs to the remotest freshwater swimming holes, stunning waterfalls and majestic gorges, where the peace and tranquility is broken only by birdsong.
Day 12 - DEPART BERKELEY RIVER FOR KUNUNURRA
After 12 days and 11 nights and the trip of a life time, it is time to say good bye. Fly out along the vast Berkeley River for once last glance from the air by float plane, and enjoy the scenery on your 45 minute transfer to Kununurra and then connecting flight to your major capital city. Kim Lang and Family
In 2012 Kim Lang and her family from Young NSW were announced as our Kimberley Dream winners. They went on to spend 7 nights aboard the True North where they travelled from Broome to Wyndham finishing up at The Berkeley River Lodge, they were one of the first to experience the property which had only been open for one month.

Jan pagliaro and family enjoy the kimberley dream 2011
Last year Jan Pagliaro from Melbourne Vic was announced as the first Kimberley dream winner, Jan who works in Special Needs Care responded excitedly by saying "I see competitions like this all the time and always wonder if anyone ever wins them, now I know!" Jan claimed her prize on June 15th 2011 and visited the Kimberley region with her three children.
Her 10-day package featured a self-drive itinerary that crosses the Kimberley from Broome to Kununurra, including a range of tours to iconic destinations such as the Bungle Bungles, the Ord River and Wolfe Creek Crater.
